"You can tell they made an effort to renovate the rooms. This is a motel with pretty cramped rooms, best suited for a solo person or couple, in transit for a couple days. Their renovation efforts are a bit hindered by some maintenance issue, hence the missing star. Still, i would recomend this as a decent motel, suited for singles or couples transiting the area. "This is a very old one level hotel, at least it feels that way. The rooms we stayed were kept clean, but the old carpets on the long hall way are very worn. When the weather is damp, so are the carpets. There were no bathroom fans, so the ventilation was poor. The mattresses are not firm, but they are OK. The staff was helpful."
