"Only stayed one night as we travelled from Glacier to Yellowstone, but really enjoyed this hotel. Breakfast was wonderful, the lobby has a lot of character for a chain hotel, parking was a breeze, and our room had a door that opened to the indoor pool which was perfect for the kids. Will definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in Helena, MT."

"Lamplighter Cabins is such a cute place to stay! The check-in process was easy and convenient, with the staff leaving the key in our cabin before we arrived. We enjoyed taking a walk through the neighborhood and loved the charming old-town atmosphere. It's too bad we were only there for a short time because we would have loved to explore more. We had a wonderful stay, and if we're ever back in Helena, we would definitely stay at Lamplighter Cabins again."

"It's location is terrible as it is between 2 very busy streets the traffic noise was terrible until after 11pm and started again shortly after 6am . I would not stay there again for half the price."

"Reasonable price and comfortable beds for a night close to the airport. My only complaint is the dismal vanity lighting. We could barely see well enough to shave/apply makeup. Someone needs to revisit the bulbs being used."

"We stayed here because of the jacuzzi and yet it was broken. Our bathroom was dirty with hair dust bunnies on the ground around the toilet and hair stuck on the shower walls. Between the two queen beds by the nightstand were cracker crumbs or potato chip crumbs. The whole time we were there(3days), a semi truck was parked outside our window with a generator running 24/7. "The room wasn’t very clean. The floor was sticky in between the beds. The bathroom sink had stuff stuck to it. The pool was tiny and not overly clean. Very outdated building. Could use a good cleaning and some updating."

"Only one star because they had a lock on the door. Tv didn’t work, toilet wasn’t attached to floor, room was horrible, not as advertised! Do not stay unless it’s the last option"

"Smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Everything felt dirty. We have a service dog, and we were charged a pet fee anyway."

"The price was by far the best feature. The room did not contain a wastebasket. There was a TV on the wall but no sign of a controller to operate it. The air conditioner was very noisy. There were clean towels and a bar of soap, that was nice."

"Unfortunately we were disappointed. We have been traveling for over a week and don’t generally stay in an hotel that costs this much, but thought we would treat ourselves. Originally, I called the hotel’s direct reservation line to book a room. Agent told me there was only one room available and it would be $400. I had looked on Expedia and saw the same room for $300.
