I honestly think some reviews are a little too picky. 😅 For a budget hotel, I had a really great stay!
First, a big thank you to Isabella at the front desk. She was so kind and welcoming, and check-in went smoothly.
A few things to know before booking: there is no elevator, only stairs, so if you're traveling solo, maybe don't bring your entire closet with you. Your suitcase will appreciate it. 😂
I saw some complaints about the breakfast, but I actually thought there were plenty of options for a smaller breakfast area: cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, bread, granola/Nature Valley bars, apples, coffee, juice, and more. Sure, no bananas, but I think you'll survive. 😉
When I first walked upstairs, I noticed a weed smell near the first couple rooms by the stairs, which I personally didn't like. However, once I got farther down the hallway to my room, the smell was completely gone.
The room was honestly pretty nice and looked just like the pictures. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was surprisingly clean, the TV worked, and having a refrigerator and microwave was a great bonus. The fridge was a little wobbly, but it still did its job.
The only thing I’d suggest adding in the future is a small clothing rack or more hangers since there isn’t really a place to hang clothes besides the wall hooks for jackets.
