The only small blemish was the seeming lack of regular maintenance of the bathroom utilities, such as a leaky sink drain, or a a cover that fell off every time one flushed the toilet. As is typical with this region in Italy, everything is on a hill, and walking to the hotel from the train station is easy, but there is a bit of a climb at the end. The breakfast is typical Italian - no hot food other than coffee. The room and bathroom are larger than most standard hotel rooms and it was very functional - you could work from it if you needed to. "We stayed in the hotel room for a family. It was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We swam in the pool which was clean and well looked after. We ate at the restaurant onsite which had delicious pizza 🍕 and GF options for us. The view as the sunset with outdoor dining was spectacular and we could easily have stayed another day and night. Thank you."

"One of our favorites. Historic, just beautiful hotel. Huge rooms and bathroom. Super comfey bed and pillows. A/C works great. We loved the sitting room. Only thing that could have improved was the breakfast. Eggs were cold and pretty gross. Great location though and the pool was great if you get tired of the sea!"
