"This hotel is wonderful with beautiful views from the terrace! The only complaint is the number of stairs you have to take if staying on upper floors (no elevator) - my husband has a bad back so that’s a consideration. Also, wish they would accommodate all the guests in the gourmet restaurant as we couldn’t get a reservation during our 2-day stay! Book ahead of time!"

"This was a beautiful location. The room was spacious and loved the patio for coffee in the mornings. It was very private. We enjoyed the pool and restaurants were great. Breakfast was amazing. We did the picnic and dinner in the Olive Garden and loved getting to know others at our table. The chefs food choices were so wonderful. We would definitely stay again. "

So many places we visited were overly crowded & this location was perfectly situated in Tuscany between Siena, San Gimignano, and other destinations while providing a refuge from the crowds. Castellina in Chianti is small, but it has several great restaurants to choose from that are within walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast was absolutely lovely. "I can’t even find the words. Our stay at Palagina was so wonderful. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. My husband and I along with our 2 children ages 7/5 loved our apartment stay. The rooms were spacious and cozy. Beautiful views of the vineyard and Tuscan hills. The food at both venues were delicious , fresh and presentation was on point!
