"I absolutely recommend this hotel. We stayed four nights and the hotel is stunning. The beds are comfy with nice bedding and decor. Good shower and fabulous breakfast with local produce. We couldn’t use the pool as it was too cold and closes 1st October which was a shame it wasn’t heated but I guess that’s normal. The gardens are lovely to sit in early evening before dinner. The food is superb and I would definitely recommend eating there . My only criticism was that the set menu of the day is...

"Our second stay at La Prison... and it was just as good as the first! This time we had very comfortable twin beds, which meant we could look out of the window at the view...and what a view! Great sunset both evenings! Didn't eat at the bistro as we had other places we wanted to eat at, but did have breakfast. Plenty of choice. Only niggle was the fruit juice was very sweet. The place is quirky, it's a little out of the way, but we would (and will) stay there again. Only negative... they promote...
