Ac and heat worked well! The breakfast wasn't as advertised but something was provided. For a cheaper place to stay it wasn't too bad. Right by the freeway but pretty quiet when we were relaxing in the hot tub. The staff were amazing!! We will be staying again.

Good location. Really dont have high epectations at this price point. Room is very dated and not very clean. Towels were stained and hair in shower. Just run down. There are some properties that offer better at same price point

Family owed, very friendly and accommodating. The room itself is very old and not cleaned well. Heater did not work so they brought a portable heater, that was nice.. the blankets and pillow cases had lots of stains and gross stuff all over one of the walls. Best paprt was the staff, they were very nice, including the kids and teenage boy that worked the counter.

hotel ok for a budget traveler. wifi ok. cleaners knocked twice in the morning to see if we are out which was annoying since we got in late and were very tired. we were out by 9 so not like we slept in. linens clean but room could use more cleaning. comfortable, big room. looks like they did an upgrade on furnishing.

Easy to find off the freeway, comfortable beds, quiet, good access to restaurants. Very friendly staff and clean. Would very much recommend American Best Value in Cedar City.

This hotel seemed to be undergoing some fixing up or possibly a change in management. The rooms were sorely in need of renovation and upgrades. The key to the outside door didn't work during lock-up time posted. There were stacks of furniture in the parking lot. We didn't get any housekeeping during our stay. The staff were nice but it seemed they could use help and were scrambling to keep up with everything.

The property manager on site was very friendly and helpful, however, the hotel was a hot mess. From the urine smell at the entrance to the many broken windows, this property was in disrepair. The carpets were filthy, the bathroom in our room was so bad I went and purchased cleaning supplies and washed everything (the bathtub needed 4 scrubbings of Ajax). The air conditioning worked. There was no breakfast but we didn't expect that. Around 8:00 pm after a long day of driving, and realizing we could not stay here 2 nights, we phoned expedia and told them of our plight. They refunded our money and we moved on.

The carpet in the room was filthy, and the duvet/comforter was not clean. The facility had an unpleasant smell. The sheets were clean. The pool was drained, and breakfast consisted of coffee and apples. The young man at the front desk was pleasant. There was plenty of available parking.

Horrible place. Do not stay here. Smells bad, looks dirty and horrible customer service. They don’t have a front desk employee, you have to call someone else so they go over there and it can take them up to 20 minutes to get there. They didn’t tell me my room was changed because the heater was broke and they gave me a room with one bed even though I paid for a room with two beds. They ended up getting us a room in the hotel near that one. Even if it’s cheap I won’t recommend it at all. The wanted to cancel our booking even though it was 1:30 am and it was their mistake. They felt pressured to find us a different hotel. No clean, no costumer service, no responsibility and accountability. Worst hotel ever.

There was a problem with my booking. The young lady who was there took care of the booking, was polite and customer service was outstanding. She comped the room and apologized more than she needed to. Highly recommend this hotel. 5 stars for customer service.

The desk clerk was a very nice woman that made sure the room was clean and ready for us when we showed up earlier than expected. The room itself was clean, quiet and comfortable.
