We skipped breakfast because we have dietary restrictions and didn’t communicate in advance, plus are very early risers and generally were he on our way out at breakfast time or before. "The hotel is in a super convenient location (close to Old Port). Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance (most being 25 minutes. The room was very spacious and updated. The only downsides are there is only valet parking for $40 a day ( I was sent a message from the hotel saying we could self-park for $30, but that wasn't an option). Secondly- you're charged $25 daily resort fee, which they say you can use as a food & beverage credit. The only on-site restaurant was only open 7 AM-10AM...

"The location is unbeatable with so many shops and restaurants right outside the door. The team was incredibly kind, the room was super clean, and the à la carte breakfast was a delicious. My only constructive feedback is that the bathroom feels a bit dated. Also, heads-up on the valet parking—it’s tucked away in the garage, not on the street, so it took us a minute to find. Overall, a very pleasant experience."

"As a woman traveling alone the one thing I didn’t like is that anyone could get on the elevator. There was no security. I felt more safe staying at the Courtyard Marriott because you had to have a room key to get on the elevator."

"Just know what you are getting into. Super quaint spot with very helpful staff in a very urban area. Our room had the AC unit pointed at the head of the bed and noise from the city made it difficult to have windows open. To get to rooms you are climbing steep narrow staircase up to three floors. Breakfast was nice. Proprietor was a gem."
