"Was a great hotel on the beach. Views are wonderful from the balcony. Will use this hotel again next time I am in Corpus Christi. Only about 10 minutes from the central hub of South Padre Island Drive for more restaraunt varieties and normal shopping. "This hotel is HORRIBLE!! Save your money and stay somewhere else.
To start, it took over 20 minutes to check-in because there was ONE guy working the desk and he had absolutely no pep in his step. He talked to one lady for 10 minutes AFTER she was checked in and ready to leave because they started talking about insurance (unrelated to visit), a vacation he had coming up, and then about something he pulled up on his phone.
When we did check in our $335 room we reserved on Expedia turned into...

"It's a Budget Inn, you're staying because you need a place to stay and sleep with basic expectations. It's what I expected. Parking was fine, the room was fine. "The hotel was in a good location. Seemed centrally located. Little things in the room that could be touched up. The staff was wonderful! The 2 ladies who oversaw the breakfast were extremely helpful and attentive! This definitely was the first time at a non-five star hotel I have ever been checked on to see if I needed anything.
