"My experience at The Starling Midtown was disappointing. From check-in, the staff was unfriendly; we didn’t even receive a simple “good morning,” something expected at a hotel of this level.
The elevators were another issue: only two were working, causing long waits and overcrowding.
Cleanliness was also lacking. The carpets in the lobby and breakfast area looked dirty, giving the hotel a poor overall impression.
The pool was much smaller than shown in the photos, which felt misleading. In addition, the rooms had an unpleasant gasoline-like smell, and the amenities were limited for the price.
Overall, for what this hotel charges, there are much better options in Atlanta. I would not recommend staying here again."
