"Great location "

"I would like to share my experience, as I found this hotel to be significantly overpriced for what it offers. I have stayed in many hotels with better rooms, better service, and more amenities at a much lower cost. First, the room did not include a microwave. Guests are required to go somewhere else in the hotel to use one, which is very inconvenient, especially for families.Second, parking is not included. This should be clearly stated. "No room service. No pool. No parking or discounted parking. No kids zone. Breakfast buffet was ok. Wait staff kept disappearing. Room was big and clean. We faced a parking lot on a neighboring roof so the view was limited. I was underwhelmed from this Marriott. "

"The location is excellent -- close to several Metro lines, easy walking distance from the White House and Smithsonian American Art Museum (National Portrait Gallery), and a little longer but manageable walk to the National Mall. The room was fine, but not spectacular. The breakfast in the M Club was okay, but didn't have a lot of options. The pool was small, but heated and indoors. The gym was good, and open 24/7. Overall, was it worth $400/night? Probably only for the location."
