"Excellent location. Right on the beach and there’s a nice ocean front gravel trail that goes around the rocky area and connects back to the sandy beach when it resumes. Property is well maintained. My only complaint was the mattress. It was ok but uneven. Either older or never rotated. But still reasonably comfortable. "

"Room was clean enough, we stayed there because it is pet friendly and a good location. Very basic, glad I brought my own instant coffee and cup since there is nothing but a fridge and microwave. Also glad I brought earplugs, the walls are thin and our neighbors had young kids. Overall the hotel was just ok for why we were there, just a place to sleep. I’d stay again if that’s all I needed, it is not a resort if that’s what you’re looking for."

"Wow, where to start? My room was dirty- sticky debris on the floor and on the counter in the bathroom. I didn’t even want to walk in the room with my shoes and off it was so grimy. Sheets smelled clean but looked dirty (e.g. hair, stains). There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke and at one point I could see it wafting in the hallway despite the rooms being non-smoking. "We stayed at Florence Lighthouse Inn and had a mixed but ultimately improved experience. Our initial room had some significant issues—the shower wasn’t working and the air vent was very noisy, which made it uncomfortable for my family. After raising our concerns, the team responded and moved us to a much better suite. We do appreciate the effort, though moving luggage with the family was not ideal, and we were left wondering why the better room wasn’t assigned from the start. Breakfast was...
