"Stayed for three nights, had an absolutely wonderful time. Highlights were the gorgeous pool (just the right temperature, every other pool we’ve had in Indonesia has been way too hot!), the friendly staff, and the enormous breakfast buffet — if you’re hesitating about paying the extra for the free breakfast, it’s absolutely worth it, and it’s a little different every day. There was some construction going on and we had a city view room which would have looked out onto it, so they were kind enough to move our room to a different city view without making us ask. My only complaint is that the lounge/bar, the Pink Elephant, was closed the whole time we were there due to the construction. A very minor inconvenience, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. Despite that, excellent stay!"

"This is a very good hotel. It is an old hotel but very well maintained. The breakfast is excellent. The restaurant has a limited menu but everything I tried was of a good quality. The immediate vicinity is not very interesting - but grab taxi is easy to obtain and it is not far to any part of central Jogya. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They are very helpful. They are very polite. I have been very happy with my entire stay at the hotel - other hotels could take a lesson from this hotel in how to provide good service."

"There’s free welcome drink provided. The staff were friendly and helpful. They even allowed us to put some of our souvenir that must be kept chilled in their main fridge (because the one in our room was not cold). They also allowed us to keep them until the afternoon before we departed from Jogja even when we already checked out. On a side note, good communication from the hotel too. I accidentally left my neck pillow and chatted with the hotel and they found it. I will collect the pillow tomorrow. Good thing I’m still in Indonesia as of the moment. Haha. "
