"Simple Breakfast but ok and room with a good space and nice shower. The location is excelente, near from Restaurantes and the principal street.
One thing that i didn´t like. Check out is at 10 am and they don´t accept late check out."

Michelangelo Hotel Calafate
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice hotel. Clean room, friendly staff, close to shops but quiet. Great breakfast ( however the music could be softer and less rocky). Great value "

Xelena Hotel & Suites
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was wonderful!"

Mirador del Lago Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect location if you upgraded to room with a view. Breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant had amazing views. "

Design Suites Calafate
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at Design Suites Hotel in El Calafate was absolutely fantastic—easily one of the best places to stay in the area. The highlight? Without a doubt, the breathtaking view of Lake Argentino. If you’re booking, make sure to reserve a room facing the lake—it’s truly unforgettable, especially at sunrise and sunset.
The hotel itself was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to be welcoming and helpful, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
We also found that having a rental car made a big difference. It gave us the flexibility to easily access the main street in El Calafate and explore the surrounding areas without any hassle.
Overall, a perfect blend of comfort, scenery, and convenience—highly recommended for anyone visiting Patagonia."

Destino Calafate
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel; property is new and in very good condition. Conveniently located a few minutes walk to the bus station. Was a great choice for me as I was only stopping in El Calafate for Perito Moreno Glacier. It is a bit of a walk to the main part of town, about 20 minutes, which I didn’t mind as I like to get out and walk and the weather was nice enough to do so. If you’re staying longer in El Calafate and don’t have a car or the weather isn’t great you might want to stay closer to the main town center. But otherwise it was a great place to spend two nights. Room was simple but had a mini fridge and the bathroom had a wonderful shower with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Breakfast was simple but also good; the lady who made the eggs each morning cooked them perfectly! I think a tea kettle in the room for tea/coffee and maybe a small fan to circulate air would be nice. Overall a solid property! "

Tierra Tehuelche
6/10 Okay
"A bit of a mixed bag.
The positives are it's a very quiet location, the staff are friendly and helpful,I had a couple of technical issues with the room and the engineer came to fix them within minutes, and the room was clean and comfortable. I also booked the apartment which was very spacious and with a good kitchenette.
The negatives are their photo showed a sofa but I didn't have one, just a stored away bed. This meant I only had chairs to rest on, or lay on the bed. It's a ground floor appt but instead of a net curtain there is just a roller blind so you either have semi darkness and privacy, or daylight and no privacy while the water in the shower kept changing temperature on its own. The WiFi was also weak.
The property is in a new area being built and It's about a 15 min walk into town. That said it did have it's own bar and restaurant and you receive a free drinks voucher when checking in
Overall it was ok, but I wouldn't go back"
