What a fun place to stay! We stayed in the deluxe room with the jetted tub in it. It was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The bonus is the restaurant at the same facility. We ate dinner and breakfast there and they both were excellent and fairly priced. We look forward to staying there again!

Clean room and comfortable. It was way Awesome to have the restaurant right there staff super friendly and food was great! My only thing was the fridge in the room was not cold...didn't keep or drinks cold. I would stay there again!!😃

Nice, quiet, clean room, good+ restaurant. Very soft bed; bed frame higher off the floor than customary. Need a hand grasp in the shower for safety, a nightstand on both sides of the bed, a clock with alarm next to the bed, and a dresser or drawers in the nightstands as well as rack/rod for hanging clothes that guests can use for clothing.

Rustic, quiet charm in a sweet town found right here. Plenty of space in the room and a really delightful jetted garden tub to relax from the day. Roomy walk in shower and well equipped with soaps, shampoos, etc. The only thing that I did not expect was the softest bed I’ve ever tried. I’m used to very firm but surprisingly slept okay.

This is a relatively old motel that contains a lot of residual dirt, especially in the corners of the bathroom. The wiring on the florescent light above the beds is not up to code: it is simply wrapped up in electrical tape. There is a mysterious uncased electronic device next to the TV. It looked dangerous, so we didn't tough it. Direct TV was advertised, but we did not attempt to use it. The parking is plentiful, the WiFi signal was good, and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioner fan is very noisy, and the toilet makes creaking noises when a person sits down on it. Our check-in was quick, polite, and painless. The restaurant has very good food, which is probably why it appears to be the only eating place consistently open in Challis. It is usually very busy. We ate there six times during our 3-day visit. However, this restaurant is seriously understaffed. There often is only a single waitperson struggling to keep up with the number of customers. People seem to really enjoy eating there with their families. Sadly, there is just a single restroom, and the wastebasket was full of dirty diapers when I visited. There were no paper towels in the dispenser. I mentioned this to the busy cashier/waitress who was holding down the fort this morning. This is a basic, no-frills motel and restaurant, but Challis isn't exactly a fancy place. The fresh air, scenery, and friendly people, made our trip to Challis a pleasant experience.
