"A new building designed in the style of colonial era homes. Larry and Patricia were terrific hosts. Breakfast was made to order and amazing, including biscuits made according to Larry’s grandmother’s recipe. Comfy bed, plush towels. The dimmer switches for the lights are a great touch. Plenty of parking, nice large backyard with tons of birds. Remote location so it’s nice and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! "

8/10 Good
"Loved the property but it’s a time share property and we couldn’t get our keys to our room without talking to someone. We were not interested and were in a rush to check in and head out. Didn’t like the fact we had to explain ourselves to get our keys and NOT feel pressured to sit and listen to a presentation. We also didn’t know we couldn’t get fresh towels that we had to wash our own due to having laundry facilities inside our room. We really only slept there and were busy out and about, not sure why it would cost $12 to get fresh towels. Would be nice to know ahead of time."
"The rooms are spacious and cozy. Water park was smaller than places like water country but it doesn’t matter really when you consider it’s far less packed and you get more done and you don’t often stay in a hotel with anything more than a pool.
Ropes course was great, games were great and VR was incredible.
Food was amazing and I hated being on a diet.
Definitely going back next year.
Buy the adventure pass, it’s absolutely worth it"
"Plenty of space in the deluxe apartment for a short stay. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean. Summer is very busy, so pools were a little too crowded, but this is understandable given the time of year."
"The room and facilities were clean and well-kept, and the staff was friendly and courteous. However, on the third day of my five-day stay, I had to ask the cleaning staff to take out my trash because it hadn't been emptied, and I hadn't received clean towels. I also had to request additional coffee and coffee cups because they hadn't been replenished for two days."
"This was the second year we chose to stay here for a baseball tournament. For the price it can’t be beat.
Our King room was large, bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was wonderful to have - we ate most of our meals at the table and chairs provided. I rise much earlier than my husband and enjoyed the two minute drive to Wawa (also within walking distance- just not for me) for a coffee while watching the planes landing at the Richmond Airport across the street. The facility is modern and exceptionally clean both our room and in the general areas, i.e. the elevator and small gym.
Amenities that were not included were not missed by us, such as a pool, free breakfast, or large lobby.
My only suggestion to improve our stay would be the addition of some sort of cushioned chair or love seat, which the size of the room could easily accommodate.
Our stay this time was three nights - should there be another tournament (we have four baseball playing grandsons) or another reason to visit or pass through Richmond- Motel 6 at the Airport would be at the top of our list."
