"If you’re looking for a hotel that nails the basics and then casually throws in cookies, the Country Inn in Champaign is your place. Check-in was smoother than the gravy on the breakfast biscuits, and we were greeted with warm cookies—which is basically the hospitality equivalent of a hug from grandma. The next morning, breakfast came through clutch: waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and coffee that was not only drinkable but actually enjoyable. That’s a rare hotel breakfast achievement...

"Property was very well maintained and very nice visually from the outside and inside. Room was very nice and the breakfast area was also newly updated. Parking was easy. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would definitely book at this property again. The convenience of having everything close by the hotel is also a big plus."
