A chic version of an Austin oasis on a campus of oaks in the heart of South Austin. The totality of the experience outshines any tiny nitpicks (as an example: a beautiful armoire that contains the TV and mini-bar/fridge took up a lot of space in a tidy room) and it was easily a five-star experience. "Well the room wasn't very clean, there was a baby pacifier under the bed, also the pull out bed was horrible!! Also we booked it specifically for the pool & when we got there the lady was like oh I'm sorry, the pool is under construction. Also it took about 30 minutes or more for her to check me in, cuz she couldn't find my reservation when I had my receipt on my phone. So the whole trip was blah...."

"The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff friendly. The breakfast is just ok. Hot items were cold. The problems with this hotel for me were: the parking is valet for $45. There is a parking garage across the street for $35 and most people using it didn’t seem to pay at all. There is a club behind the hotel that thumped so loudly half the night and street racers woke us up revving and squealing their tires very late. "A little far out of the way from everything that we wanted to do (soco). It was easy to catch an uber though. I booked this place specifically for the rooftop lounge and it was closed for maintenance throughout our stay. Bed’s were extremely comfortable and room was a good size. However, I would not stay here again."
