Andy communicated promptly and gave clear instructions on where to locate our key and room. Quiet location just a few minutes’ drive from the quay in Portmagee. "We had a lovely time at Base! The staff was unbelievably kind especially when I was in the lobby with my toddler at 6 am. The rooms were clean, updated, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel was in a perfect location to the shops, restaurants, and even a playground! Parking was a little tricky but that seems to be the norm in Dingle, nothing the hotel could do about that. My only suggestion would be to add a mini fridge to the room. Otherwise it was perfect!"

"There is a lot to like about Milltown House, but there were a few major things that did strain our trip. "Visited with friends and had a good stay. The rooms and restaurant were of a high standard. Check in was via App although as I was remote from networks at times it was a bit complex. In room breakfast was good but I would have preferred a cooked Irish. The Restaurant could not take credit cards on the night due to equipment failure so had to pay the next day. Businesses should have back up options available .... spent half an hour standing around while a workaround approach was agreed."
