"Very clean, updated. Comfortable bed, staff very friendly. Charles City is a nice small town, right on the Cedar River. Dining nearby. I highly recommend "Pub on the Cedar", and staying at this Super 8...it was great !!"

"The whole staff (especially Danielle and Liz) were very welcoming and accommodating.
My only complaint is that the website and travel sites state "pet friendly" but they do not allow cats."

"If you like a great price, this is the place to stay. The building generally needs fixing up and modernizing, but it was acceptable to me because I just wanted an affordable place to sleep overnight. The desk guy was nice and very accommodating. Breakfast was decent and most of it was unofficially available even though we had to check out at 5:15 am."
