The resort fee is pretty ridiculous. But, using the fancy pools next door was a treat. Seems priced a little high, given how empty it was.

Tides Folly Beach, Charleston's Oceanfront Hotel
Beautiful view of the ocean and very friendly staff. In walking proximity to everything and a short drive to Charlestown. We will definitely be back. 2 negatives- only one elevator was working and it’s slow. Also it’s really loud at night- you can hear the music from the strip but it ends by 11.
