The Quality Inn, Summerville, South Carolina was in a great location with easy access to shopping and any personal needs that you may require. The staff was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable of the area. The rooms were spacious and breakfast was sufficient. The on-site parking was free with easy access to the main hotel. Pros: No bugs, waffles for breakfast, A/C worked well, responsive staff Cons: Property had no elevator, ice maker on 2nd floor was broken, everything was very old and worn out, bathroom had no venting and yellow stuff growing on ceiling (staff did clean off ceiling once I asked about it). Slightly funky smells in room. My coffee cup literally disintegrated as I was eating breakfast and the coffee spilled out of the bottom. Not sure how this place had such high reviews on expedia, if your only priority is a cheap bug-free hotel this is for you. If you want anything else from your stay don't expect it from this spot until a big renovation.
