Very disappointing for the price.
First off, the front desk insisted there was only valet parking for $35 a day when there was self-parking available for free.
When I reserved the room, it was supposed to have an ocean view which it did not. When I asked about it, the front desk told me to contact Expedia. Before I got on the phone with Expedia I asked the front desk if there were any ocean view rooms available and was told there were not. Very frustrating.
Breakfast downstairs was an ordeal. Although there were only 2 couples sitting in the dining room, when I asked for a table for 2 the first morning I was immediately asked if I had a reservation. We did not, and proceeded to wait for 10 mins while they figured out where to seat us. The wait was not bad, it was just the silliness of asking about a reservation when there were NUMEROUS tables available.
We ordered from the menu and the food was DELICIOUS. Strongly recommend avoiding the very overpriced basic buffet and ordering off the menu.
The room was clean and the mattress was very comfortable.
Beach access was easy to navigate and the pool area was very nice.
The resort itself was very nice and met a traveling family’s needs but the service was subpar. When the staff eventually got to us for whatever we needed, they were very nice, but seemed overwhelmed and confused.
If I paid non-resort prices I would give this hotel a higher rating but they really need to support their staff and guests better.
