"It's a relatively small room with a bed on a mezzanine level. Stairs are steep to the bed, but fine if you free up on a boat. The tap in the kitchen worked but was not attached to the sink - some plumbing needed.
The studio was cleaned, but could do with a lick of paint, especially on the door which looked as though it had been attacked by a mythical creature in a Ben Aaronovitch novel.
The people in the room/flat above us were kind enough to ensure we knew we weren't alone, and trekked back...

I left my AirPods in the apartment after checking out. I contacted the host immediately and tried calling — no answer.
Seven hours later, I was finally told they'd "sort it out" and I could collect them the following week. Reassuring, given that my AirPods were, at that exact moment, on the move across London. When I called to ask why my belongings were wandering the city without me, the host told me my personal property "wasn't their problem." Shortly afterwards, the AirPods...

"Got to admit I was a bit dubious upon booking the room as it is a university campus but after reading the reviews felt better about it. The staff at reception were welcoming and helpful, especially when we had no towels in the room, they made sure the towels were in the room ready upon our return. The room is basic but clean and presentable, somewhere to put your head down and shower. It’s also as the reviews say very easy to get to and from Wembley stadium."
