"As a dog owner, this was the perfect stay. It is so convenient to have your car right there. The AC worked VERY well and the room was tidy, beautiful, and well kept. Everything worked great and appreciated the coffee in the morning! Just note you may not have great cell service, so knowing your room and code prior to arrival is very helpful to note down. Will definitely consider staying again!"

"There is no staff at the facility but someone is available by text The common areas were great. I can see how this would be a good communal area to meet others in the busy months or go with a big group of friends. I loved the work from home room. The outdoor areas were really nice too. Unfortunately the entry keypad into my room was very finicky. It would take me multiple tries each time entering my room to hit the numbers just right. My toilet seat in the bathroom was also completely broken...

"King size bed very comfortable. Cable TV channel selections were quite limited. No Smart TV to be able to stream apps from phone. Shower always flooded some onto bathroom floor because there was no separation between the 2 areas."

"I was thrilled with the location. Very short walk into town, and had plenty of parking. Checking in was a breeze by just using codes to the doors. My first impression walking into the building was that it smelled VERY clean. My room was spotless, bright and charming. I stayed in Room #8, and it was the perfect size for a single or a couple. The ONLY thing I wish it had was a blow dryer, but that is a VERY minor mark. 5 stars all around, and will stay here again!"

"It is a lovely beautiful place, we visited at the end of snow season but I bet that this place is beautiful in fall foliage, summer and winter! Me and my best friend stayed at this amazing, cozy and family owned lodge and we will definitely be back we our friends and family. Lisa is very sweet, attentive and has two beautiful cats. "

"This truly a gem! One of two remaining historic hotels in Detroit, everything about this hotel was something special. The room was spacious and creatively decorated with a large selection of LP's in the hallway. This also included a record player. The queen size beds were extremely comfortable. The fact that this hotel was walking distance from a diverse restaurant and entertainment options. This was especially true for me, the Vegan. Mykayla was extremely friendly and resourceful.
