"We stayed in one of the family rooms overlooking the park.
The rooms were comfy, clean and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly. Our room looked onto the park, with views of the animals which the kids were delighted about.
We had breakfast included. There was plenty of choice, albeit the quality of the food wasn't the best. That said, there was lots of space, and helpful staff.
The hotel was perfectly situated for us. Overall a great stay."
"Lovely hotel in a great location. Bathroom sink had hair on it! The bar man at the bar was so rude like he didn’t want to be there! Which made us uncomfortable! All the other staff were lovely, excellent breakfast."
"The hotel is ideally located to enjoy the best of Buxton. It is beautifully decorated, with a real sense of luxury. Our room was spotless and the bed very comfy. Staff were helpful and polite. My only disappointment was the breakfast service and in all truth this was completely unacceptable. It was apparent that the kitchen and service was heavily understaffed, which impacted upon the cleanliness, insufficient stocks on the buffet service and delays serving food. Most people had a 45min delay for hot breakfast, and this resulted in us and a number of other guests requesting refunds. The serving staff were very apologetic and just looked worn out and embarrassed."
"The property is very modern, wellmaintained and the staff are helpful. It is in a convenient location close to the train station and a 10 to 15 minute walk to the town centre. There is also a bus service from the train station. The area is quiet.
There is a good buffet breakfast."
