This is my favorite hotel in Chicago. The staff and management are the best. The hotel is attractive, comfortable, clean and safe, great for single women travelers. Get a coffee from the bar - Daisy makes the best cappuccino. Ms. Cookie at the front desk is welcoming. Trevor, the manager is accommodating and charming. I already booked my next stay!!

One lady at the hotel with dark hair went above and beyond in service. However the hotel says it is renovated but when actually going in, you can see it's only parts of it, the rest is old bones. It definitely still shows ages. Carpet has dark spots in the room. The stay had small mishaps but nothing serious and like i said, one lady gave stellar service. 5 stars for service :) Unfortunately on the second floor one of our guests could not sleep all night because he had car alarms going off that he could hear the whole night and a strange woman came at 7 am to solicit him and give him something (never had that happen at a hotel before). There is no elevator limited access so maybe anyone can come up? Anyways that was weird. The guest didnt open the door but she didnt seem like hotel staff either. Overall wish the hotel was newer and cleaner and like the shiny photos, but cant complain about the service and special care they gave us.

Property was clean and the rooms were relatively spacious. Conveniently located downtown a couple blocks from the main shops and a couple blocks from Lake Michigan. Only con [Major Issue]: window views. Most are facing other windows. I walked into my room and found myself in a staring contest as I closed my blinds with the people inside their room - sitting on their bed; on the other wing of the hotel. There was maybe a 15’ gap between the windows NOT what I was expecting. Other than keeping my blinds closed, and not being able to look outside - decent hotel.

This property had a good location and a nice lobby. There is no controlled access in the hotel elevator no room service no housekeeping needs after 3pm. Very loud outside the room s. And had a sewage smell for one of the days we were there in the elevators and lobby.

We enjoy the happy hour, and just sitting in the lobby. It's very homey. Unfortunately, our room was right by the closet for the cleaning staff, it was very loud in the morning on the 7th floor. Would rather not have to down to 2nd floor for ice at night.

Third time stay at this conveniently located hotel. However, arrived at 11:30 pm, staff on duty unhelpful, couldn’t be bothered and honestly, insolent. When reported the next morning, manager “sorry” but would not stay here again due to this negative experience.

I had so much fun came for my birthday stayed for a total of 3 days. First it was very quite and they even gave me a complimentary bottle of champagne for my birthday that was so sweet the area is very clean and well kept as well the only down side breakfast wasn’t included but other that 10/10.

Overall everything was perfect. The staff that work there was amazing, room was clean just enough space for me and my boyfriend , had a nice view , air conditioning was great, could have done better on food options, couldn’t say into my Netflix , Disney plus and etc but everything else was great.

Small rooms but adequate for our needs especially with the comfortable lobby. We were a bit surprised by the extra $24/night urban fee that was charged when we checked out. Remember to add that in when comparing costs.
