There was a constant smell, the staff was descent but the excessive questions upon checking in felt a bit intrusive. The room also smelled and a little dirty, also blood stains on the mattress

The parking lot was covered in litter, people had just gotten kicked out or something so all of their stuff was in the way trying to get into the hotel and they were loitering blocking the way, the hotel required a permit to park which really held up check in because people didn't know their license plate numbers. After checking in things didn't get better. The hallway smelled really weird and the room itself smelled of stale cigarettes and mildew. The window was cracked, the bed looked like a pull-out bed and felt like one, I felt I needed shoes to wear for the shower, the air conditioning was so close to the bed it blew cold air directly onto the mattress, and the alarm clock had chunks missing out of it.

First room #250 door was open, upon entering the door would not close properly. The attendant said “that’s not possible.” Second room #258 the toilet did not flush properly. The attendant wanted to give me a plunger to fix the problem. Ask for refund, the attendant said “I’ll give a refund but you must leave the property.

Disappointing Stay at Extended Stay America Suites Chicago Schaumburg Conv Center I recently stayed at Extended Stay America Suites Chicago Schaumburg Conv Center, and my experience was quite poor. The luggage cart was broken, making it difficult to transport our bags. The amenities were inadequate, with missing basic items and a noisy air conditioner. The "included breakfast" was a joke—just a machine for tea and coffee, and a few energy bars. Additionally, the hotel lacked cleanliness and maintenance, with stained carpets and neglected common areas. Despite polite staff, service was slow and unresponsive. I do not recommend staying here.

Ah, where do I start? Let me paint you a picture of this hotel straight out of a nightmare. First off, the floors? Sticky doesn't even begin to cover it. It's like they decided to mop with honey and forgot to rinse. The microwave? Well, it's more of a prop than a functional appliance. Want to heat up your leftovers? Good luck, because that thing's just for show. Oh, and don't even bother trying to call for help on the phone. It's about as useful as a brick. And if you dare ask the staff for a change of room? Get ready for the cold shoulder and a hearty "tough luck" because apparently, you're stuck in this sticky, microwave-less, phone-less purgatory. Enjoy your stay... or lack thereof. And no blankets in the room as well

Hate to give a bad review because I guess you get what you pay for. Room was just pretty gross in general, smelled like urine, TV didn’t work, hot water was limited, just not maintained. Whole facility needs some upkeep. Breakfast was just coffee, granola bars and instant oatmeal.

Excellent Except for 1 thing. The TV totally sucks some off brand made in china and the remote only clicks up and down, no mute, no sound adjustment, and no closed caption which is required by federal law.
