The hotel is in a nice area and is easily accessible from the freeway. The room I stayed in was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the hotel itself appears to be in need of better maintenance. During my stay, only one of the three elevators was working, which resulted in long wait times. The carpets throughout the hotel had areas that were sagging, and some of the walls and other areas of the property appeared to need repair. The restaurant has potential, but it was noticeably understaffed on the evening I stayed. It was difficult to find someone to help me get a table and place my order. I also noticed that the main hallway had a buildup of trash, with the garbage bin overflowing. This gave the hotel an overall appearance that was not as well maintained as I would have expected. Overall, while the location, clean room, and friendly staff were positives, the condition and maintenance of the property fell well below what I expected from a Hyatt Regency.

Be careful if your plans change unexpectedly. Hyatt will not work with you to refund or provide alternative dates of stay. Frustrating. My example: Planned to go to concert (Allison Krauss) on Saturday and purchased tickets on a Tuesday. Made reservations with Hyatt Deerfield on Wednesday. Thursday the concert was cancelled. Immediately contact Expedia and the Hyatt Deerfield on Thursday. I got no grace or resolution. Even when contacting corporate Hyatt. Made for an exciting Saturday, disappointing. Would think twice about booking with Expedia and staying at the Hyatt.

The hotel was the perfect place to spend the night with my family of 4. Very clean, updated rooms, bathroom, helpful and friendly staff, free self parking in premises. I made the reservation including breakfast for our family of 4. I was charged $9 extra to my reservation, paying around $160 This is a buffet with a variety of options, by far the best breakfast I’ve had in a hotel. My family and I were gladly surprised. Just be mindful, there is a bottle of water in the room that has a label letting you know that if you open the bottle you’ll be charged $6 . I read this note, afterwards.

I stayed for 2 nights because I was in town for the BTS concert, and overall, everything was perfect. The place was very clean, welcoming, and I genuinely enjoyed my stay. The only issue I had was with the check-in process. I did check in about 2 hours early, and I was told there would be a $25 early check-in fee, which I was completely okay with. However, when I went to pay, my original total was $301.82( including the tax) and all of a sudden it increased to $401.81, which is almost $100 more. I was very confused because I was specifically told the early check-in would only be a $25 upcharge. I really did love staying here, and everything else was great, but being charged an unexpected extra $100 was honestly pretty frustrating and felt excessive, especially when I was told the fee would only be $25. I would definitely stay here again, but I would just hope the pricing and additional fees are communicated more clearly beforehand.

Common areas included torn carpet and wallpaper, and lots of trip hazards. The main entry fountain was all green algae. Weeds outside the property in all areas. The room was decent besides the old tubs. Very disappointed as my family and were waiting for half an hour until someone came and asked us how many in our party for the pre paid breakfast. Then they walked away so we left and paid a second time for breakfast at an offsite restaurant. The swimming pool area was very dirty with cloudy water! My family and I will not stay here again!! Better options nearby like the Embassy Suites with a fantastic restaurant. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WE HAD WAS MOLD ON THE BATHROOM CEILING, DISCUSTNG AND IT SMELLED. Very disappointed in HYATT.

Requested early check in. Was told room would be ready for -anytime from 10:30 to 2pm. I said take your time, we just wanted slightly before 4. Get there around 3, the room is not ready (apparently the delivery for linen was not ready). We waited about 30 min, which wasn’t that far from the 4pm check and was told the room is ready now. We go up and find the room is semi cleaned. There was a cricket in the tub and fingernail clippings all over the floor. Immediately disgusted.

The only thing I could say about this hotel is maybe to touch up the elevators and better lighting in the parking lot. This hotel is beautiful. Quiet area, comfortable, updated, easy check in process, wonderful staff, and I will definitely be back.

The hotel is ok, but there was NO hot water in the shower. This was incredibly annoying since the bare minimum you ask of a hotel is a comfortable bed, wifi, and a hot shower. The rest of their amenities don't mean much.
