My fiancé and I were staying here for over a week with no issues until Monday morning when I walk up to the front to pay. I’m assuming she was the manager, she wasn’t wearing a name tag so I don’t know her name. I dealt with her previously another morning with no issues and then out of nowhere she says I’m ID is expired and she can’t give me the room for another night! I said ok I’ll go get my fiancé and he can put it under his name since my VALID foid card from Illinois wasn’t enough for her, but she said No because I’d need to be registered too and my ID is expired! Seriously? Been here over a week, have caused no issues or complaints and then 10 minutes before checkout you tell me pretty much to get out. Then to top it off, my fiancé tells her that I scheduled to go get my ID at 12:50 & she said well you can check back in after then. So we left and got a room again later that night. Again stayed for two nights with no issues, under my fiancés name and they never once asked him to register any other people. Go in tonight to check in after reservation for the guy to tell him the manager put him on a do not rent list! Call Expedia and they tell us to wait 3 days for that same manager to approve the refund and then 7-10 days for Expedia to refund it. People are struggling these days, you refuse to rent us a room and then hold our last dollars hostage leaving us to sleep in our car. Thank you
