Budget-friendly solo stay in Chicago

Great place for a budget-friendly solo stay in Chicago. Helpful staff, friendly guests, great and plentiful breakfast and clear checkin and checkout instructions. I had the Moroccan room, whilst it is not a modern hotel room, it had everything I need, was spotlessly clean and had bags more charm than a Hilton!

The villa toscana is an average priced option in a great area. If you’re going to boystown, it’s very walkable and convenient. Also close to the El and busses. The rooms are small, but adequate for two people. There’s a nice kitchen area where you can get cereal or waffles for breakfast. It’s an older house that has been converted, so there are the usual charms of an old house, but it is clean with no major issues. If you’re looking for a prime location and no fuss, this is a great option. We’ve stayed here numerous times and likely will again in the future.

No one to talk to so unusual checking in process but it worked well. Didn’t see anyone else at all. Small room but really dated and really needs a refresh. Looks nice from outside and felt like a safe area close to Wrigley

They offered early check in and late check our for a small fee and luggage storage which was super helpful. Host was repsonsive and so polite, with very clear instructions for self check in, and the space is absolutely adorable, clean and well maintained with a lovely patio area in front. Pet friendly was a HUGE BONUS too bc ita hard to find dog friendly spots and I love to travel with my little guy. We had a wonderful stay and will be back again. Thank you!

Very Nice!

My daughter and I came to town for the Stray Kids 2025 World Tour concert in Chicago. I booked our stay well in advance, but decided to come to town a day earlier. They were able to accommodate that without having to change rooms. It was a very friendly atmosphere!

Wonderful!

This place was great! It was wonderfully located, clean, and ideal for a weekend away. I’m so glad I found it and will definitely keep in mind for future trips! The Halloween decor was fun too!
