We were rather disappointed with the cleanliness in the room, the bed and linen were good but the shower and bathroom definitely need some attention. The shower was over the bath and as the water touched the curtain orange liquid ran down and into the bath. The vanity front also needed some cleaning. Perfect position close to shopping centre with many different dining options.

Honey, who runs this accommodation, and the housekeeper, whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, offer outstanding hospitality. Honey is incredibly kind, warm and welcoming and even offered us sweets for Diwali, which was a lovely touch. The rooms are kept exceptionally clean. We stayed for a week and appreciated that the room was serviced during this time. We booked what we thought was a spa room, but this is no longer provided. Apparently they notified Expedia, but this hadn’t yet reached them. The bath without the spa was still nice though.

Highly recommend this hotel

On arrival we were greeted by Honey, we were shown to our room and even offered to carry our bags, as we enter our room, on the bed was our towels etc with 2 chocolate mini bars..the service we received from honey was outstanding and was no trouble if we wanted something .. Thank you Honey we will come back

We were greet by a very friendly host who showed us to our room unlocked the door and already had the heating on so the room was lovely and warm as it was wet and cold when we arrived. The room was lovely and clean the bed was so comfy and there was plenty of hot water and great water pressure in the shower. Would highly recommend this place and look forward to staying again

The location and parking was great and the room was ok.... good to have a stove and microwave and it was clean. However, the room was advertised as having a spa bath which is the reason we chose it. Basically it didnt work, the 'on' button was broken ... very annoying. Also the battery cover was missing off remote contron for tv so we had to switch it off at the wall. Other less problematic issues were red wine stain on carpet and broken drawer in kitchen.

Friendly staff, easy check in, had everything we needed for overnight stay - some info was conflicting in signage/compendium and bed was rather hard and could do with updating but overall good value for the price. Would stay again.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Very clean but some updating of furnishings is needed. To be fair all you need is there. Handy location for Uni, Riccarton Mall and the CBD. Would book again.

It is a great place to stay, and there is a shopping mall and Pak & Save across the street. Some of the facilities might need to have some maintenance, such as the draws, range hood, etc. otherwise, 'Property Conditions' should be 5 stars.

Room was very clean and sufficient for my stay. As it was weekend - no staff on duty but not a problem as key system for entry very easy & texted to phone. Some noise as room near to busy road so if possible would prefer a quieter room next time if possible. Will certainly book again as so handy for Uni and the Mall shops etc.
