"The space itself is lovely and very comfortable to be in but the ground floor entry is dirty and not at all welcoming. We had a little trouble operating the elevator at first but we’re relieved not to have to take the stairs. Cleaning and reception staff were very helpful and accommodating."

Please keep in mind that there is no lift, and accessing rooms requires taking 2 sets of stairs. Andrea was helpful with our luggage when we arrived, but he was not there when we departed so we had to take luggage down ourselves. "Beautiful suites with plenty of space to spread out and relax. All of our needs were more than taken care of (though I could have used a full length mirror). Staff was very welcoming and accommodating! We arrived early and they graciously got us settled into our rooms so that we could relax before heading out. The hotel is a hidden gem, super convenient to the tourist area with plenty of restaurants and shopping, but calm and peaceful once you're inside. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Great staff. Large rooms are available for families (thus was our case). Three bathrooms were available, one kitchen and one fridge. There are regular evening activities through the week. People meet around the dining table and discuss. (You can stay in your room as well if you wish). In any case, we enjoyed very much that communal spirit. Highly recommend."

The breakfast was simple yet delicious. We were within walking distance to several restaurants and the Palazzo. Definitely a great place to stay when in Catania. "

"I stayed 2 nights at Liodoro, and it was perfect! SUPER quiet, really nice room with a fridge and TV and lovely bathroom (and the bed was super comfy too). The host was great, and very helpful. A really convenient place to stay too - close to so much around the old town. A good base for sightseeing and food too. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes."
