"I originally booked a single room but the bed was amazingly narrow and could not sleep well, so had to upgrade to a bigger bed. Don't choose this option unless you are a dwarf. The breakfast was poor value. Don't choose it. On the positive side, the location of the hotel is excellent, staff friendly and helpful and all spoke English."

"The location was excellent. Really just minutes from the railway station, so it was very walkable. I loved the staff at the front desk, kind and helpful. I had a single room, that is smaller, but includes everything you need, it was perfect. The breakfast is great, the lady makes the cappuccino with the foam and particularly kind. "Hotel Aristeo was very clean and tidy with many good sized rooms overlooking the marina.Staff were helpful and pleasant.Breakfast well organised. The key trick is to drop off luggage and park on the quay, two hundred metres across the main street.Great location from which to explore the city."

"We had a three night stay in this beautifully restored hotel. Our room (Roald Amundsen) was huge and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We also had a drink on the rooftop terrace one evening for a stunning sunset. The location was brilliant in the heart of the old town - out of the hustle of the tourist zones but still easily accessible on foot. Breakfast being included was a bonus, though basic and would not have been worth paying extra for if not included. "

"There is no swimming pool and the restaurant is overpriced. However staff is very helpful and can book very good restaurants. They also advised on sightseeing and car rental. Better than average 4 star hotel "

"Booked VIP suite solely for the private sauna. It can only be operated via touchscreen mounted on the wall, which was not working properly. On a 3 day stay, maintenance and hotel staff members were in our room for two of those days trying to repair it, but ultimately were unsuccessful. We never used the sauna. Aside from that, staff is very friendly and helpful, and the property is very clean and beautiful. Without the sauna issue, I would definitely rate it 5 stars."
