Charming cottage. Good kitchen and lovely private space in garden

Lovely cottage. Good location too. The only negative was the bugs that woke us up in the middle of the night. A bit scary because they are really big and crawls on your skin. Other than that, still okay.

Really nice stay in a small village with a lot of history. The property is situated close to some well known places such as Tintern and Usk. Great communication from the hosts who were very friendly and supporting.

Clean, cosy and comfortable. Also very quiet in the middle of nowhere. Will definitely be back.

We liked the perfect location and setting we thought the track from the road needed attention

Phil is a great host, he explained and gave us a quick tour of the property, he gave us good recommendations for little excursions. The property was clean and very cosy, I would always recommend for anyone who wants to get away from the busy city life...

Book the property primarily as a base for work - what a fantastic find. Parking for two vehicles, kitchen / diner immaculate, all well decorated and pristine. Every appliance , cutlery etc to hand , really warm and homely

Really great little property - away from any distraction and with a great Hot tub you can use and listen to the owls at night.

Lovely Period furnishings and decor, excellent facilities, but it's the stunning view from all rooms that sets this property apart! The only downside is the steep staircase but the host carried our bags for us which helped

Beautiful location away from busy life, lovely house which was spotless. Beds were comfy and was a great stay.

Great little stay away for work, extremely comfortable.

Gorgeous little staycation! Beautiful cottage, area and super dog friendly. Would definitely recommend and return. Best pub in the area by far was the Fox at Coaley too, 10/10!!

An excellent place to stay with 2 dogs and access to the surrounding countryside.

The accommodation is part of a working horse farm. We had an elevated view, with a big horizon. East facing, we witnessed magical sun rises and also a good view of the moon. The interior was beautifully clean. Everything we needed was all provided in a compact well thought out space. It felt like the hosts had really thought about guest comfort - it was all just lovely.

Clean cottage with well stocked kitchen equipment as well as board games and selection of books. Nice quiet location for local walks and quick and easy to get into the Forest of Dean.

Lovely accommodation, clean, modern, pretty and spacious garden, safe off road parking. 3 very comfy bedrooms, nice living room with dining table. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher as well as utility room with washing machine. The road is a bit noisy with very fast traveling, but we soon got used to this. It wouldn't put us off staying here again. The location of cottage is close to many lovely attractions including Forest of Dean, Clearwell Caves and Puzzle Wood.

Work trip and excellent location. Morrisons on route for supplies and some lovely evening walks. Although some of the footpaths need the nettles trimmed 😉 Struct lucky with the street parking all but one night but the car park behind is very close. Only heard those above very occasionally and I slept very well. Will definitely look to book again. Thank you

Stunning and very quiet. Nothing lacking, a real home from home…… without the traffic and sirens.😂

Brilliant property.
