"The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff were efficient, attentive and friendly. The facility is nicely located for all we did in Ashland for the weekend, very walkable. The breakfast was robust and well stocked, offering gluten free and dairy free options. The bed was comfortable and slept well, the noise level was minimal.
The reason for the lower rating was cleanliness of the room itself. When we arrived, I went to wash my hands and there was dental floss on the counter. At one point I dropped my glasses off the nightstand and when I went fishing for them under the edge of the bed, I found someone's lost earbud case. Finally, the plate that attaches the lighting fixture above the table near the window to the ceiling was dangling on the chain. These conditions aren't acceptable and were reported. Front desk staff was apologetic and assured prompt attention."
