Top Clay County Hotel Reviews

Stoney Creek Hotel Kansas City - Independence

10/10 Excellent

"It was a very pet friendly hotel, with a nice bar with kitchen, and a very nice breakfast buffet. The property is part of a Bass Pro Shop enclave. Lots of good walks for dogs."

Crowne Plaza Kansas City Downtown by IHG

8/10 Good

"Started off on the wrong foot. I originally though I had booked at the Crown Center (I suppose Westin) but discovered it was not -- AND a mile or so away (not very walkable from Crown Center). I was told by staff at BOTH places that it is a daily occurrence. Not the hotel's fault but i didn't start the trip off like I hoped. I wasn't planning an on spending $30 a day for parking --I planned on using the rental agency inside the Westin for one day -- but because of the distance I had to rent for 2 days and pay parking. Again, not the hotel's fault. But still left a bad taste in my mouth. That said the staff was friendly and the building itself was good (not great). I am not sure what "amenities" there were but for the price, I was honestly expecting a little more."

Sleep Inn & Suites Liberty - Kansas City

8/10 Good

"The hot tub was not very hot and it was definitely dirty and that's only complain I had about that one the breakfast there was no eggs and they hadn't been refilling any of the hot food so that was a little bit disappointing but the lady at the front desk when we checked in was super sweet n the room was clean"
