Being a more pricey hotel you would expect the breakfast to be better than lower priced hotels. We were very disappointed in the breakfast selections. How about bacon and sausage served daily with fresh scrambled cheesy eggs. Higher quality juices with breakfast would be great. The juices you provided were so awful tasting. Also how about flavored creamer for your coffee. Also staff complaining about being short staffed doesn't ring fun vacation. Also complained to staff about something bitting me in bed leaving blood on sheets and nothing was done about it. We also asked for room garbage cans and empty cans in recycling bin to be cleaned up/emptied and they gave us bags and told us to do it and leave outside our room door. Why am I paying all this extra money for if I'm going to take the trash out. Plus in the morning you have to walk down the hallway with all the dirty sheets laying in the hallway outside each room. It would also be nice if the pullout couch in the living room was clean enough to sleep on. Towels, washcloths, hand towels and toilet paper should be replaced when customers are staying multiple days.

Was at the property for 5 days, we had chosen this property because of the pool and hot tub, but the hot tub only worked properly 1 day of our stay. The continental breakfast didn't have many options and no changes to the menu daily, very disappointing

We come every year for our anniversary and love the rooms but this year, our room was a bit run down. Toilet paper holder falling out of the wall, corner stripping fell off the wall during the night and scared the heck out of us, kitchen faucet not connected to the counter, and one of the pendant light bulbs was burnt out.

The room was nice and clean but the sad part was the air conditioning waking me up all night. The noise was so loud and it woke me up a few times during the night. The bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress was so hard it was a nice and comfy bed like we were expecting. Not staying at that hotel ever again

The room was nice, but the TV kept disconnecting every night and needed the maintenance guy to restart every morning. My husband gets up at 5:30 am and did not want to bother the front desk at that time so he ended up sitting without it in the morning.

Inside broken door to pool. Courtyard door from pool to hotel key card entrance broken. At 4am, our hotel room emergency light kept flashing and woke me up. I doubt this is customary.

Highly recommended!
We had a very nice stay. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had some nice amenities including dishes, glasses, mugs, silverware, and pots/pans, and the bed and pillows were cozy. The shower worked well, and the provided soap/shampoo/conditioner was appreciated. The big screen TV was also very appreciated after a busy day. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and had some nice choices. Highly recommended.

Breakfast space was tight and ends at 9am on weekdays, but offered a decent variety of foods. Rooms were clean and spacious, although the lack of any USB ports was annoying.

We first stayed at Emerald Event Center about four years ago when it was new. It was great to see the high standard of cleanliness, comfort and amenities has not diminished. Very friendly, professional staff. Room was spotless. Breakfast (included) was always a nice touch and remains so w/good (and healthy) options.

The hotel was nice, breakfast was good, and the hotel staff was pleasant. HOWEVER: 1) We reserved a suite with 1 king and 2 queens. We received 1 king and 1 queen. 2) We couldn’t use the sofa bed because it had a large blood stain!!! 3) When we reported the biohazard to staff the next day, they moved us to a suite with 1 king and 2 queens (which is what we should have received in the 1st place), but the sofa was worn down and uncomfortable to sit on, and the shower was not in the best shape.

I was quite disappointed that i wasn't offered the option of a military discount or senior citizen discount at time if making reservation. It should have been offered as we are both senior citizens and military.

I was very disappointed because my main reason for choosing the Residence Inn, and paying a little more, was for the hot tub. Upon arrival after a long drive there was a sign at the front desk saying the hot tub was out of order. Other than that, it’s a great hotel.

I booked March 13 for a May 21 overnight. Expedia required that I pay up front which I did without questioning. When I arrived last Saturday night, I had to pay again!!!! Now, I've paid twice! Once in March and again on May 21. I was over 500 miles from home with no other options except maybe sleeping in their parking lot so I was without choice. Not happy with Expedia or the idea of dealing with my card company and you since my card was billed in the April billing!!!

Depending on the card type: credit:3-5 business days and debit:5-7 business days before you would see it back. Beware of the pet fee
The hotel and our stay were fine. Hotels.com lists it as pet friendly. The hotel does accept pets, however, be aware that it charges a pet fee of $110 (after taxes), an amount that definitely put a damper into our enjoyment of our stay.

We always recommend calling the hotel directly to book and to ask questions. Third party websites don't always have the most accurate information. The nonrefundable pet fee goes towards the cleaning process that happens after guests with pets check out. The fee is to help keep our hotel in great shape for other guests. Note that this is a newer facility, so everything was neat and clean. The lobby bar was a refreshing perk after a long day. The room was great, but maybe instructions for how the (we found out later) automatic curtains work would be helpful for those on the east side of the building. Parking was free on a flat lot around the hotel, an incentive for us as we had looked at downtown Cleveland, but parking was $40 per day. This location fit all our criteria, and we would recommend. Quick 20 minutes to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

We were in town for the day and spent the night at this establishment. It was a great experience. It was clean. The staff was courteous. Breakfast offered a wide variety. If I am in Cleveland again, I would like to stay here again.

Checked in after 9 pm on a Tuesday, staff was nice and attentive. Clean quiet room. Comfy beds. Decent free breakfast. Conveniently located close to work……Will stay again when wife kicks me out😉

Neighbor trouble
We were directly next to a large group who were screaming and singing and partying, ended up physically fighting each other and got the cops called on them. The entire hotel was awoken by alarms in their rooms for 30 minutes at 2 in the morning because these selfish people decided their night was more important than anyone else’s. Not to mention it was a connecting room, there was a dead bolted door in our room connected to theirs which is a safety issue to me when they were throwing each other and other things against that door.
