"It was close to our area of travel and reasonably priced. Main building was very nice that contained the office and breakfast area/lounge. Room was tighter than expected and would be very hard to accommodate 4 adults (we had 3 of us) with luggage and two queen beds in a small cabin. We did lose hot water on our second morning."

"Everything was very nice. Great location, the rooms are very well maintained, and the breakfasts are excellent. The one suggestion I would make is the water for taking showers at night was barely better than warm both nights we were there."

"We checked in at Hyatt Place Rapid City around 7pm, well past the standard 4pm check-in time, only to be told our room wasn’t ready. Staff said it would be about 30 minutes, but it ended up taking over an hour before we could actually get into the room. Once we did get in, we found there wasn’t even basic hand soap available — a small thing, but frustrating after such a long wait. For a Hyatt property, this level of service fell short of expectations. Hoping management addresses these gaps for...

"We are satisfied return guests. Only downside this two day stay was WiFi was never found with multiple searches from our room. We just connected iPads to our cellular phones for the short time in the hotel. Breakfast with eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles, milk, juices, coffee, muffins, bagels, fruit, yogurt, and I’m sure I’m forgetting others, but it was good. Child and pet friendly. Beds are comfortable, but I don’t like the small pillows. Staff was super friendly and helpful."

"The water bottles that were provided were priced at $5…what if the water was provided for free..this would have been a much more positive experience rather than being annoyed at the cost of $5, which we did not choose to purchase"

"OK, if any small hotel in a busy tourist location needs to learn how to give BIG EXPENSIVE hotel service, go visit these folks. The manager is “top shelf”!! I managed managers for years and she “gets it”!! The staff did a great job and it is clear they enjoy working there!! GREAT JOB FOLKS and thank you!!! Helpful, great location to several National parks, safe area."

"This was an excellent place to stay! We have an 8 and 13 year old and they both loved the water park. We spent the day sightseeing and the evenings at the water park! The Water Park was so convenient, we could order food and drinks to our table! We really loved everything about this hotel."
