"Single traveller, using the hotel as a half way stop during a long journey. Stayed just for one night.
The staff, from the reception to the restaurant were absolutely fantastic. Knew my name and used it, I felt like their most important customer, even though the hotel/restaurant seemed busy.
Hotel is clean and comfortable, room (8) is small but perfect for one person unless you really want to spread out or perhaps are staying a bit longer.
Some of the pipework looks a bit "vintage" but to be...
"Very easy check-in all the reception staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the area the room was large and spotlessly clean and the show was also very spacious no negatives will certainly use it again "
"Hotel was very nice. Also had a very nice jazz bar. Only down side was we thought we were staying in the castle so we were ok taking a cab outside of town for it. When we got there we were staying in a hotel next to the castle and the castle was closed due to a wedding. Wasn’t ideal and the listing should be more clear, but the hotel was very nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. "

"The property is neat and tidy. Everything we needed are provided, e.g. toiletries, hair dryer, all basic cooking utensils with seasoning as well.
It is located in a small town, which is quiet. Also, it is between Glasgow and Edinburg, which is good to visit both places. Driving is a must."
