"Very happy with Icon. Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it! "

The area is the best you will find in central Lugano. There is a funicular next to the hotel taking you directly to Lugano train station. The lake is 200m walk. The service is as good as any hotel I have ever been. The staff and very friendly and helpful. They helped me plan my trip to the two main Lugano mountains. Pre-visit you get to pick what you want in your free minibar, what type of pillows, what type of mattress and a few other surprises. The building is not new but is very well...

A really lovely stay at the ibis budget. A very short walk to the lake and a 20 minute walk to the centre of Lugano. Room was kept very clean and staff were friendly. Paradiso train station a 5 minute walk and bus stops nearby.
Recommend the bakery/tea room round the corner!

Beautiful boutique hotel, stunning location, gorgeous infinity pool, and lovely views. The staff were really helpful, and the food was excellent. A very relaxed feel to the place, would definitely recommend.

The hotel was conveniently located so you could walk into como city, to the ferry stop or to the train station. The food was very nice, we had the hotel breakfast each day and also ate in 2 of the restaurants and at the poolside bar. The rooms were comfortable and well cleaned with an evening turn service as well. The pool area was lovely, great pool with an amazing view of the lake plus very cold so great for cooling down after a hot day. Would highly recommend.

The view down Lake Como from our room (No.29) was nothing short of breath taking. The staff where very very helpful and in the main spoke English (if your Italian is limited) food was very nice and reasonably priced. If you are a keen cyclist they cater with their own bikes and a workshop area. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. A bed was provided for our 12 year old son as we requested, so catering for families doesn't present any issues. The Jersey Mob

This place is a hidden gem in a typical Italian setting 5 minutes walk from Vezio Castle in the hills above Varenna ferry port.
Rita the host and Kirsty are the most helpful and friendliest people you could ever meet and absolutely nothing is too much trouble for them to do for you. The walk down to the ferry is quite steep on a cobbled trail but only takes 10 to 15 minutes and walking back up is a little more challenging especially after some wine and pasta down at the lovely restaurants in...

Everything was wonderful. The hosts were very friendly and told us all about the villa and its history. The place is very authentic and cozy. We had a great time!

Beautiful and clean room. Excellent location. Comfy bed. Would highly recommend.
Only downside was a loud group waking us up at 2am on the Saturday night - but still 5* rating from us (obviously out of the hosts control).
If you stay, remember to bring some shower gel as the samples provided will only last you a day.

We stayed in one of the suite apartments for one night recently and it was fantastic, beautifully presented and clean. The communication with the staff was excellent and they are extremely helpful during the check in process with plenty of information which, given the location of the property, could be confusing without. Highly recommend a stay if you are in the area.

The hotel is from the early 1900 and beautiful renovated and has a lot of charm. Their park with large indoor and outdoor pool (connected) is a strong plus. We enjoyed our stay in a deluxe room on the second floor. The room was functional in modern design with a comfortable bed. Our room had a looked connection door and therefore we had to be careful with the TV volume to not disturb our neighbors.
Overall, very positive, we will be back.

Very convenient to all the key sightseeing places, walking distance to the lake to book ferries to Bellagio, Verana, restaurants, shopping, railway station, bus station.
Staff went out if their way to help with any queries, places to eat, visit etc, breakfast was arranged at another restaurant walking distance to the hotel. The rooms were ok very dark, small bathroom but lively hot shower, All rooms needed updating but very convenient to everything.
