This time, because I had suffered a bad injury, I’m using a rolling walker to walk because I’m not released to fully bear weight. We were shocked and disappointed to find there was no ramp to the dining room - only steps. Also the bathroom door in our ADA room swung outwards but would close on its own as you enter the bathroom. This also was quite surprising and disappointing with requiring a walker to ambulate. This made getting into the bathroom a bit of a struggle. There was a hook-type device on the interior side of the bathroom door. With the door swinging closed as you enter, that device struck my right shoulder and/or my shoulder ran into it while the door was closing and left a bruise. :( I’m only 56 and I don’t bruise easily."
