"So our room was supposed to be a suite. It was decent but the fridge had a funky smell to it but we used it. The next morning went to get our food out and noticed black mold on the top of the fridge inside. So we had to throw our food away. When I was brushing my teeth and I just happened to look up and there was about 1/2” of dust caked to the return air vent right above the bathroom sink. The thick dust was a fail on housekeeping and maintenance so that means multiple people saw that dust and just decided not to clean it up. There was something splashed and dried to the wall behind the trash can in the bathroom and a couple random hairs in the tub. Housekeeping is definitely slacking. The hot tub outside was closed. The inside one was open 24hrs. We went to relax after 10 hours on the road and the jets didn’t work and the water had so much chlorine we both itched terribly and my husband got some kind of rash/irritation on his skin that night. I hate to be a complainer and hate to leave bad reviews. But for the price the suite wasn’t worth it. Last time we had a regular room and it was fantastic. We didn’t try the breakfast so I have no review on that. The front desk lady that night was great and helpful. I couldn’t say anything more than she was so kind and helpful. I did let them know at checkout about the dust and mold and my husband overheard her telling maintenance to go look at it. So hopefully it was fixed. Like I said our first stay was great, this time not so much."
