The Resort at Schlitterbahn

10/10 Excellent

"We had a great and comfortable stay at the Schlitterbahn Resort. The room was spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and the beds were like a cloud. I do not have much criticism. Water pressure and length for shower to get hot is one of my only areas of improvement. I had a difficult time getting the Dining Room window to lock but finally was able to do it. It's an older community but Schlitterbahn has really made it comfortable. Upgrades to the fixtures, plumbing, and appliances would be very desirable but not necessary as the objectives of being very near the park, having space, and sleeping comfortably were all met. The evening movies and late night pool hours were great offerings."

"I loved the availability of the sink, fridge, microwave and dishwasher in the room. Everything looked clean for the most part but we did have a bug on the bed that my son killed before I got to see the type of bug as well as a spider on the wall while I was in bed. I also did not like that we had to pay for parking. It is ridiculous to pay for parking at a location you are already paying to stay. Real close by to multiple stores and restaurants including HEB, Buc-ee’s, dollar tree and more. Great breakfast selection. Has two waffle makers but I feel like they need more as line gets pretty long. So don’t wait last minute for breakfast time. Overall a 4/5 stars."
