Fabulous host with a fabulous water front property. Next to transport, places to eat. Beautiful room..enormous bathroom. Enjoyed our 3 days there.

Very conveniently located less than 5 minute walk from Como Lago train station, ferry ticket booth, and Brunate funicular. Proprietor Stefano kept in close touch by WhatsApp as we made our way by train from MXP airport to Como Lago so he could meet us since there is no check-in desk. Stefano was very accommodating with regard to storing our luggage after checkout time the day we departed. He knows about local restaurants and sites, but I do wish he knew more about the unconventional ways of the Lake Como ferry system's ticketing process. Rooms are on one section of a floor of an old-ish building, resembling more an AirBnB rather than a hotel. Our room was small by USA standards, but average size in Europe, though the bathroom was quite large with both a shower stall and a stand-alone full-size tub. Room and bathroom were very clean, but we needed to tell Stefano we wanted maid service for the following day otherwise the room and bathroom would not have been cleaned. There was a complimentary bottle of prosecco in the mini-fridge. One downside is you need to keep a ring of four keys in your possession to get into your room (one for building external door, one for building external door's auto open in case the regular door is stuck, one for the door opening onto the stairwell, one for your actual room). Some sites on the internet call this place a Bed and Breakfast. It is not. There is no breakfast service available, though Stefano can suggest nearby places to get breakfast.

The location was excellent, right across the street from the lake. It didn't look like much from the outside but inside was very nice. It had AC which was great as it was unusually hot there. Big bathroom and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean also. Stefano gave us great directions for checking in and finding everything. He was very good about checking to see if we needed anything.

The location was right next to the lake and the ferry station and ticket booth. It’s a nice walk from the train station. Stefano was great he held our luggage before and after we checked in/out. The room itself was big and the bathroom was large and newly remodeled. Bed was large and comfortable. There was a partial view of the lake. There is a/c. The location is great.

This hotel was nice and was a great value for our budget. The room was very nice and it was close to the main area of Como. The train station was a 4 minute walk from the hotel which was very nice during the hot weather.

The property was close to the town and we felt secure. The owner was friendly and helpful and the property was spacious and clean. Due to it's location to the eateries it can be a little noisy til fairly late. But as a whole we enjoyed our stay in Lake Como.

This was a lovely room very close to everything. The only drawback was the noise that went late into the night with the men laughing and drinking at the bar underneath the room and began early in the morning with the workers emptying the large amounts of glass bottles from the night.

Exceptional Rooms steps from Lake Como

Stefano greeted us and we entered the enchanting building, the rooms are in an apartment of a building with very good secure entrance. The bed was very comfortable & the bathroom large clean & beautifully decorated. Step outside & you are on the Lake & surrounded with possible restaurants to enjoy. The free coffee/tea & water, were appreciated. We were able to leave our bags after check out. Stefano was a great host. Would recommend if you like something a bit more boutique than a regular hotel.

Great location- near trains, ferry and bus terminal Stefano was extremely helpful, responsive to our needs. He shared some ideas about nearby towns which helped navigate our trips Room was clean and spacious. Great experience

Stefano was a fantastic host, and the apartment was gorgeous. Fantastic amenities and really friendly customer service provided which added to the experience. Apartment is in the heart of Como, and right next to Lake Como. Great food and drinks nearby and many different bars/restaurants. Would recommend and will be coming back again in the future.

Great stay at a lovel apartment

Hard to find. We had to ring owner and we wete literally outside. Not hotel bit apartment within a block of apartments. Very secure- 4 keys to get into your room. Booked lakeside view which could be seen from side window. Apartment was huge wuth a fantastic bathroom and huge bath. Owner made aware we celebrating my birthday and he very kindly left a bottle of prosecco in room. Very thoughtful. Lots of bars/restaurants in locality.

Me and my mum visited Como for a few days and this was the perfect place to stay! It was so easy to find as it was located very close to the train station. The host Stefano is absolutely lovely. He was in touch at all times for anything extra we needed, fresh towels and more tea etc. He even left us a bottle of wine which we thought was a lovely touch. He sent us a list of recommendations/resturants and even suggested we went to Lugano Switzerland and we did it was beautiful! The room itself was beautiful. So much character and very Italian. Huge bed which was very comfy and the bathroom was also huge and so clean! Tv with Netflix too. The location is perfect as its very walkable, right next to the ferry to catch to Bellagio etc and right near Como centre for resturants. We had the best time here and would definitely return!

Great option for experiencing Lake Como

A wonderful, cosy, full of old world Italian charm option close to all the sights of Como and a stones throw from the pier. Stefano was a very welcoming host and we even had a bottle of sparkling wine, a few cans of Fanta and some bottled water waiting for us on arrival. It has a lovely big bathroom and the bed was really comfy. Our room also had a view of the lake.

La estancia ha sido maravillosa. Stefano nos ha acogido como si fuéramos familia. La habitación y el baño muy cómodos. Por otro lado la situación es inmejorable, con vistas al lago y cerca de todo lo bonito de Como. Gracias por todo Stefano!
