"We had a great stay at Dreams Vallarta. The standout experience was the Mexican restaurant—the food was excellent, and the guacamole was the best I've ever had. The staff throughout the resort were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and everyone spoke excellent English.
The resort and our room were very clean and comfortable. The AC worked wonderfully and kept the room nice and cold, and the view was amazing. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues, including some broken jacuzzi jets and a broken clothesline, but these were small inconveniences and did not impact our stay.
The room service food was surprisingly delicious and exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was our favorite meal of the day. The lunch and dinner options at the Asian restaurant, seafood restaurant, and buffet were okay—about what you'd expect from a hotel. While enjoyable, they didn't feel as authentic as some other places we've visited in Mexico.
There was a strong push to attend a presentation, but when we declined, the staff remained respectful and courteous regarding the gifts and additional add-ons.
Overall, I would highly recommend Dreams Vallarta for anyone looking for an upscale, hotel-style vacation in Mexico, especially travelers who only speak English. The excellent service, cleanliness, comfort, and outstanding Mexican restaurant made for a wonderful stay."
