Brilliant hotel, excellent service and breakfast through our stay. Perfect location and great beach service. We would definitely stay again.

The beach facing rooms are absolutely stunning! Views incredible. Breakfast is one of the best that i have experienced globally. Staff super attentive.

Second floor apartment with fantastic views of the beach. Many an enjoyable coffee was had watching Rio life from the tiny balcony. Apartment spacious and quiet.

One of the best of the Copacabana

I had a wonderful time at the Marriot in Rio. The service was impeccable from the standard of the rooms and concierge to the excellent roof top and beach service . Especially the guys on parking who organised a round trip for me to the HSBC areana to watch the Arctic Monkeys . A driver was organised for me who waited all night to bring me back.

Perfect location on the front of Copacabana beach. The hotel and room was spotlessly clean and the buffet breakfast was extensive. Our room overlooked the beach which was fantastic. The reception staff really helped us out with a trip to Christ the Redeemer and the housekeeping staff were professional and friendly. The roof top pool and bar were fantastic. Would highly recommend.

We were delighted with this hotel for our Xmas and new year in Rio. It is the perfect location for all the sites and has a great atmosphere. The room does what you want - great big bed very comfortable, great walk in shower, excellent wifi that never dropped out and with a view of Copacabane beach. Top terrace great views but a lttle small when lots of people up there. A big feature of this hotel is the staff - they are very friendly and do all they can to make your stay in Rio a success. - for...

Ok stay

This hotel was in a safe area...2 streets away from the famous copacabana beach....a super market across the street...breakfast was great....plenty of options to fill you up before a day of sight seeing or lying at the beach or roof top terrace...the rooms were huge...plenty of room for 4 ppl...even though the hotel was goung through renovations it wasnt a problem....overall if i ever make the journey back to rio i would definitely stay here

The hotel is good value for money. The breakfast is good and it has a lovely pool area on the roof. The staff speak English which was good for us as we speak very little Portugese. The hotel is a short walk to the beach.

The location, the Skylab and roof top swimming pool, the gym (which was undergoing an update), the Wave beach club, the breakfast food selection and especially all members of staff, primarily Joao Alfonso on reception and Carmen who looked after my room. All staff were great and professional at all times and were so helpful and always had a smile on their faces. Please note, some room refurbishment is underway, so a little noisey during the day.

Amazing property! Good value for money! Recommended for families with children!

Desk a bit slow sometimes otherwise a nice hotel and near the beach. I’d come again.

Lovely hotel, arrived far too early for check in but was given access to the facilities and our luggage was locked away safely so we could go out and enjoy the day

I arrived early in the morning and was not due to check in until 2.00pm. I asked the man on reception if he could let me know if a room became available sooner so I could pay for another day and he found one immediately. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The staff were all friendly. It was an easy walk to the beach. All in all, a good experience.

It was located close to the beach

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 adults and children aged 3 and 6) and had a very enjoyable stay. Our flight arrived early and the hotel kindly allowed us to check in ahead of schedule, which was hugely appreciated after travelling with young children. Although we booked a triple room, the hotel provided an additional bed for our youngest child, making the room work well for our family. The staff were excellent throughout our stay, always happy to help with taxis, luggage, and any questions we...
