"Hotel was easy to find, super clean, staff was great. Loved the suite with the separate bedroom and jet tub. Breakfast was a little sparse with no fresh fruit. According to the front desk the shipment they ordered didn't arrive. So I can't really blame them for that. But the food they served was pretty good."

"Breakfast was fine- nice to have the option, the juice machine was definitely watered down and tasted like dirty water instead of actual juice. Biggest complain was that the pool was closed for maintenance all weekend, they told us they weee working on it all day Saturday- never saw anyone in or around there, and the pool was filled with water, which I would think would make it hard to perform any maintenance on. It felt like when McDonald’s Tells you their ice cream machine is down. Is it really?"

"I stay at Grouse usually in the fall for hockey. This was my first time staying in May. The largest draw to this hotel is their hot-tub and sauna. It was not advertised until check in that they were doing remodeling on that area so it’s closed until June. The onsite restaurant is a nice benefit to this place however the walls are notoriously thin at this hotel and the air conditioner does not keep the room cool enough as it’s very outdated. If I had known ahead of time that the hot tub was closed I wouldn’t have wasted my money on a hot room where I can hear the people in the next room."

"We stayed at Apres Whitefish for 4 nights while attending a conference nearby. Lovely, quaint hotel. The only downside was there is no elevator, however our front desk helper carried our bags up for us so all good. There's a refrigerator in the room and a microwave in the common area. I wish we had more time to enjoy the beautiful common area a little more. Beds were comfy and room was clean. The only real downside for me was that I wish they offered drawers to unpack my clothing - I hate working out of a suitcase. No gym or pool, but we did lots of walking instead. Highly recommend. if you don't mind the lack of a place to unpack your clothing."
