"A perfectly located hotel in the heart of Cordoba and ideally situated as a base for exploring. We received a warm welcome along with a glass of chilled cava upon check in and the receptionist took time to explain the hotels amenities along with local sights and restaurants. Our room was overlooking the main square and was well appointed with bathrobes, Ritual toiletries, bottles of water and an amenity kit. We enjoyed the pool area on each day of our stay which benefited from a quick ordering facility to have drinks and food delivered to your sun lounger. Whilst this was effective on 2 of the days, disappointingly one order of 2 drinks took over 35 minutes to arrive and then was not fulfilled at all later on in the day. The rooftop bar was another great feature of this hotel, offering fantastic views of the city and a lovely ambience to enjoy a drink in the evening. Again, the service on the first night was perfect but our second visit was again clouded by us having to go to the bar to even ask for a drinks menu, having been overlooked by the numerous staff on duty. Even having done so, it took an exceptionally long time for our order to be taken.
Despite the couple of service related setbacks, staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. Breakfast service was of high quality with plenty of hot and cold options, along with sweet pastries and even cava on offer. We'd happily return here and a 5 star rating would have been given had it not been for the issues stated"
