Corfu hotel guide. Wyndham Hotels hotel in Corfu, New York

"I got a great last minute deal on this hotel. The location is convenient. The hotel has had a face-lift at some point. The exterior looks nice. The hallways and lobby are nice. The staff was nice. The room itself wasn't as nice as i would have hoped. Lousy remodelers had done sloppy work in my opinion. The shower leaked all over the floor. The bathroom ceiling was peeling. My room was odd in that it had a small window in the corner with cheap miniblinds on it. No curtains. And then a huge wall with no pictures or anything. The easy chair was stained from years of use and had some sort of cracker crumbs on it. There was a burn mark on wall in the bathroom which seemed strange. The lampshade was broken on one of the lamps. And none of the lightbulbs shared a similar wattage bulb or color warmness theme. I wouldn't rule out the hotel for a good price. The breakfast was great. But I'm not sure it lived up to the 8.0 rating. I feel bad to be critical. But it wouldnt take much for this to be a better stay. "

"I want to start by recognizing the wonderful staff at the front desk. Linda was absolutely top-tier—professional, welcoming, and very accommodating during my stay. There was also a young man at the front desk with a ponytail whose name I may be pronouncing incorrectly (it sounded like Baray). I apologize if I misspelled it, but he was also top-tier and provided excellent service. I would also like to acknowledge the woman overseeing the Hotel that was working breakfast area and the front . Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name, but she was on top of everything and worked with such dedication—like she was running the entire place herself. Thank you all for making my birthday stay so pleasant. You did a wonderful job, and your hospitality truly made the experience special."

"Check in was good quick and easy but once I got to the room i noticed a few things so first old LG tv wasn’t working at all. All channels show static screen so basically tv is there for show not use. The room had no locking mechanism looks like it was torn off the door and the floor was super sticky and weird. It’s not a terrible stay but you get what you pay for."
